I have several felt mini top hats (still a bit too big for my liking, but I can't find any smaller) and one of them I am going to cover with black pvc. I haven't taken pictures from the start. Here's a picture of the top already covered in black pvc.

Pictures of pvc stretched over the bottom of the brim and to the inside of the hat. Mind you, black pvc is really hard to photograph because it's so shiny. These pictures are very dark, but I hope they still give an idea of the progress.
