This is an old dress which has been hanging in my closet for a few years now. Since I'm not going to wear it ever again, I'm going to use the fabric (a lovely black velvet with rose pattern) for a bodice. The sleeves will be made of black lace.

Patterns used:

TV462 tail bodice for front and back (but not the double pleats)

TV416 1875 Ball Gown Basque Bodice for the back pleats

Pattern pieces cut out:

I am going to be lazy this time and not line the bodice with black cotton.
