I wanted to make a TV410 polonaise and a TV201 underskirt out of black and white stripes, but I can't find the right fabric. I am looking for a cotton-like fabric with bold stripes. All I have found so far is a jersey fabric with small stripes. I bought it anyway and made a TV201 underskirt (without ruffle). This fabric is difficult to work with as it tends to roll up, so I am glad I didn't use it for the polonaise. Besides that, it is not stiff enough for the poufs in the polonaise.
