October 28 , 2008 - Finally an update. I had to close the guestbook due to spam. Besides that, I decided to put my dress diaries on my livejournal instead of on this website. I will still post pictures here though. And new pictures have been added to the Costumes photogallery. You can see them here.

April 10, 2008 - Updates:
1. Black Robe a la polonaise : the underskirt is finished! And the matching parasol! See dress diary here.

April 3, 2008 - Sewing projects I want to make in the next few weeks:
1. Robe a la polonaise of black taffeta with black & white striped underskirt. I am going to make a matching parasol. Dress diary here. FINISHED!
2. Covering shoes with purple taffeta
3. Graveyard corset (with machting little top hat and accessoiries) FINISHED!
4. Faery wings. I am thinking of converting my lilac gown to a feary gown. I have always loved fantasy and faeries. Now I want to be one!
After clearing out my attic I found some period patterns and books on Elizabethan and Tudor costuming. You can probably guess what I want to do now :-). Of course I want to make a Tudor gown and an Elizabethan ruffle and gown. Hmmm, don't know yet when to do that. Maybe next year??? |

February 20, 2008 - Last friday I went with a friend to an exposition of fashion plates. As if my sewing-list wasn't long enough, I now have even more projects I want to make. This coat is one of the first I want to try:

February 19, 2008 - Past projects updated: Robe a la polonaise of red taffeta finished! Last year I've already cut the fabric for several new projects, today I've finally started working on them. I am now working on the corset of black/gold dragonbrocade and the black pvc bodice. No pictures uploaded yet. |

January 7, 2008 - I've started my next project: a victorian gown of purple taffeta with black velvet roses. It has to be finished before january 26, because I want to wear it to the Gala Nocturna in Antwerp (Belgium). |

November 28, 2007 - Current projects updated. I'm working on several projects at the same time now. I have so many ideas and just want to make them all at the same time. Of course this is not a smart thing to do, but I just can't help it. So I've cut out the fabrics for most of my current projects and some of them are actually been sewed together. I haven't had the time to make dress diaries (to busy cutting the fabric :-)), but I have taken pictures. So these will be uploaded in the near future. See all of my projets here. |

November 7, 2007 - It's been a few weeks since I've updated this site. Many things have happened: our little boy had to have surgery, I fell ill and finally we went on holiday. This week however I've made some changes to the website. My sewing projects can now be found here. I will try to make dress diaries of my current projects. I've made some "diaries" of my previous projects. Since I didn't take any pictures while making these costumes, these diaries are rather short. You can find my past projects here. And finally you can find my (ever growing) costume wish-list here. |

September 10, 2007 - 'Current sewing project' updated: Victorian gown of black satin, red satin and black/red blossom brocade is finished. Pictures will follow as soon as possible. I am now working on two projects: since I haven't decided on the bodice pattern for the red taffeta gown, I have also started working on a victorian gown of black satin and white satin with black lace overlay. |

September 6, 2007 - 'Current sewing project' updated. I have nearly completed my victorian combination of satin and chinese brocade. The underskirt and overskirt are finished and the corset is almost done. I have already cut out the pattern for a matching bodice (I am using the top of the TV410 polonaise as a bodice). Since I have not enough chinese brocade left, I am going to make the front and back out of this brocade and the sleeves of black satin. |

August 18, 2007 - First pictures added to 'Photogallery Festivals'. These are really old pictures of Wave Gotik Treffen (a large gothic festival in Germany). Mind you, the scans are really bad, but it's just for fun :-). |
